Reports To: President
Location: Office & Field
 
Summary of Position
This position will guide construction teams to complete on projects to complete in a timely manner within financials budget and safety standards.
In this position, you:

Develop and effectively manage project schedules and project scope
Coordinate with general contractors and subcontractors through the various phases of project
Manage changes in project scope from the original plan
Attend pre-construction and on site project meetings as required
Represent company with customers/owners and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility
Manage full Profit and Loss aspects of contracts (costs, billings, and collections) in order to maintain profitability goals and positive cash flow
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, consultants, general contractors and subcontractors
Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason for any discrepancies

 
 
Job Requirements
Project Manager Qualifications:

5+ years of project management or engineering experience in commercial/industrial plumbing, HVAC, and sheet metal projects
Strong multi-tasking skills
Visualize objects in three-dimensions from plans and drawings
Great communication skills
Strong computer/technology skills
Self-motivated and effective in a team oriented environment
Strong conflict resolution skills & problem solver

FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Electrical Dept. Manager
Location: Field
 
Summary of Position
 
This position assembles, installs, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures in schools, commercial, and industrial buildings.
 
In this position, you:
 
–  Study building plans and working drawings to determine work aids requried and sequence of installations
– Diagnose malfunctioning systems, appatatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
– Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
– Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and ensure compliance with codes.
– Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other electrical tools, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
– Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
– Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
– Connect motors, control panels, starters, disconnects and test to insure efficient operation
– Connect control panel to power source
– Perform other duties as directed
– Hold electrical licenses as required and know all OSHA safety requirements
 
Job Requirements
 
Electrician – Journeyman:
 
– High School Graduate or have GED
– Completion of apprenticeship program or 4 years experience
– May require licensing
– Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
– Look at flat drawings or pictures and visualize how they would look as solid objects with height, width, and depth
– Perform a variety of duties which may change often
– Rate information using measurable standards
 
Physical requirements
 
High physical effort required to lift objects weighing up to 100 lbs, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs; ability to see well (naturally or with correction) and to distinguish colors; ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch; ability to climb and maintain balance on high ladders and scaffolds; ability to reach for, handle and feel objects.

Reports To: HVAC Service Manager
Location: Field
 
Summary of Position
 
This position assembles, installs, and repairs air conditioning, refrigeration and heating units used in schools, commercial, and industrial buildings.
 
In this position, you:
 
– Study building plans and working drawings to determine work aids requried and sequence of installations
– May measure windows or other existing openings or cutting through walls using a mallet, cold chisel, or other tools to install new units
– Diagnose causes of equipment breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble, and assemble parts and make necessary repairs
– May drill holes to mount units and lift parts into position
– Locate and mark position of pipe/duct connections and passage holes for same in walls and floors using ruler, spirit level and plumb bob
– Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe/duct fittings using hand tools and power tools
– Cut and thread pipe using pipe cutters, cutting torch and pipe-threading machine
– Connect motors to control panels and balance motors to insure efficient operation
– Connect control panel to power source
– May weld holding fixtures to steel structural members
– May install and maintain solar heating and cooling units
– Perform other duties as directed

– Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy

Summary of Position
 
This position assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
 
In this position, you:
– Must be skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving plumbing and plumbing system related problems.
– Must be able to work independently, complete paperwork and possess good communication skills.
– Inspecting structure, locating and marking positions of pipes, connections, and passage holes for pipe in walls and floors
– Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
– Cutting, threading, and bending pipe to required angles
– Assembling and installing valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals and non-metals
– Joining pipes by use of screws, bolts, fittings, and solder
– Testing pipes by filling them with water or air and reads gauges to determine whether system is working accurately
– Installing and repairing plumbing fixtures
– Repairing and maintaining plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains
– Qualified candidates should have some of their own hand tools but heavier equipment and van are provided (Need Good Driving Record).

– High School Graduate or have GED
– Completion of apprenticeship program
– Licensing required for Journeyman, helper or apprentice is not required
– Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
– Make decisions based on measurable criteria

High physical effort required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs, lift 25-30 lbs repetitively; ability to see well (naturally or with correction); ability to stand, stoop, kneel/crouch, climb and maintain balance on high ladders and scaffolds; ability to work easily and skillfully with hands.

Summary of Position
 
This position assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
 
In this position, you:
 
– Study building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installation
– Inspect structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structures resulting from installation of pipe
– Locate and mark position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors, using ruler, spirit level and plumb bob
– Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, using hand tools and power tools
– Cut and thread pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch and pipe-threading machine
– Bend pipe to required angle by use of pipe bending machine or by placing pipe over block and bending it by hand
– Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings and pipe composed of metals, such as iron, steel, brass, and lead, and nonmetals such as glass, vitrified clay and plastic, using hand tools and power tools
– Join pipes by use of screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent and caulk joints
– Fill pipe system with water or air and read pressure gauges to determine whether system is leaking
– Install and repair plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, and water softeners
– May weld holding fixtures to steel structural members
– Perform other duties as directed
